Respectfully, my friend, I would LOVE to read the article, but I am in the unfortunate position of being a retired person on a fixed income. I give away 20% of my gross income to various charities, political and otherwise, but the dollar only stretches so far. Thanks for the thought, though.

This account, by a wrongly imprisoned scientist, correctly and unequivocally makes the case that migrants provide diversity, equity, and inclusion, making our country, our world, exponentially stronger. A diverse citizenry contributes vast resources of human experience, which strengthen all of us.

The only reason she is in detention is that Trump & gestapo are doing it as a favor to Putin. It is disgusting that this is happening in America, and dangerous not just for scientists like her, but from all of us that will miss out on the treatment and cures these scientists can no longer develop.

My late husband was a research scientist. He was an immigrant. This just breaks my heart.

Can we talk about waste and fraud? These women are unnecessarily spending months, perhaps years, in detention for minor offenses. Who profits? Not the taxpayer. Perhaps a private corp. And then add in the game of flying these people all over the country multiple times to evade the courts. Despicable
