The 10% tariff alone is a $2500 per household annual tax hike!
Apr 10, 2025 12:25Never mind that. We need a tax hike like no other, and I mean across the board. It’s time America pays its fair share. I would be happy to pay. To me, money doesn’t matter. What matters is that people of the world like us.
So how much will the 125% tariff on China cost us.
140% tariffs on China is like the most catastrophic economic move any US President could make unilaterally. Chops off half of our supply chains like a cleaver.
Once you add China's percent that jumps to $4000
Wait till corporate greed and shrinkflation hit, again. Corp America is slobbering to hit us, again. Prices didn't go down after the Trump induced Pandemic, packaging didn't go back to normal either.
Just buy American and you don't have to worry about it.
Why won’t Republicans band together or a couple make a stand against this regime??
💔
The govt is skimming, when he says he is getting money for the govt, the money is from the people. We are being taxed and then the executive will turn around and give the ultra rich a tax benefit. Not sure who can explain this to the folks in main st that they are being conned
seen a number of reporters interviewing big & small farmers. some grow veggies for school lunch programs & food banks…all Govt subsidized, but now suspended. some multi-million operations producing corn & soybeans for export. they all are
💩ing bricks. wish reporters would ask how they voted!
But if you got the 10 minute heads up of the 90 day pause you could have made 10x that.....corrupt bastards.....
As a measure for pain, what percentage of goods sold at Walmart and Sam’s club is imported from China? Based on the tariffs, what will that cost the average household above that estimated $2500?
I think we can all agree it’s this guys fault! 🤣
