I got what seems like the "normal" ending in Entropy Effect.
Mechanically the game is a lot of fun. It translated large movesets pretty faithfully to work in a beat 'em up format.
But I don't think I've ever seen a game have such a clear separation between story and gameplay.
Like, the combat portion of the game is fantastic to play, but it's only bolted on to the game's world and story as "the thing you do to progress".
That "thing" could have just as easily been a fishing game and the underlying plot would barely change.
