The United State is keeping a dead pregnant woman alive on life support because if they unplug her it is abortion.
This baby is growing inside an incubation corpse.
I agree that's awful on several levels. But is it better if the baby dies too?
I'm pro life. Not like the liars who strip away child care and health services. But 100% real pro life. I want that baby to get the chance to live too. Is that so wrong?
I can't think unplugging the baby is ok.
The baby will be severely damaged. On top of it, it will never have any quality of life, as it will be born (by cutting it out as a normal birth is not possible) with half a million debt if not more. As disabled kid without financial support, it's not going to survive longer than a few days. In pain
Is that all guaranteed? The child is too young to accept the debt, and the disability seems more like an assumption. The doctor should know, and if that's the case that's awful. But unplugging it on a guess still seems pretty f'd up.
Just look at the report. Why did the mother die? That tells you everything. The doctors HAVE to keep her alive, they certainly do not want to. And the hospital does not care, they want their money. And the baby needs money as well. Lots of it. Who is going to pay?
