Quick explainer for #365DaysOfFood for new followers. We (4 of us) have a smallholding in Wales where we raise poultry for eggs and grow fruit and veg. We are applying for a One Planet Development, a Welsh govt policy that allows you, under very strict conditions, to build on agricultural land 1/?

Those conditions include that we have to be 100% self sufficient in energy, and 65% self sufficient for food. Which can be a bit of a challenge! So #365DaysOfFood is me trying to hold myself accountable for that, and prove that it's possible to eat a healthy varied diet, all year round... 2/?

...from food that we have grown or foraged for ourselves, without having to spend two months of every year eating kale sandwiches, which nobody wants (least of all me). Things are complicated by Chris being coeliac as well as vegetarian, so I'm always looking for interesting gluten free recipes!
