- Trump: "Now there are those that saw we shouldn't be accepting gifts to the Defense Department. And I would say, only a stupid person would say that. Why wouldn't I do that?" (The Constitution prohibits it without congressional approval!)
- It cost taxpayer billions of dollars to outfit the Qatari jet with hardened security equipment to make it suitable for the Presidential use. Then then it's supposed to go to Trump after he leaves the presidency. That means taxpayers will be outfitting his jet for personal use after he leaves office
- I comfort myself with my belief that his days are numbered and far less than he thinks
