Honestly, if I'm somewhere and see one person with a mask on, I just assume they're likely smarter than the rest of us.
I'm really sick. The first thing I did was test (twice) for Covid and both came back negative. I didn't want to be responsible for spreading it (or any virus) which is why I'm self quarantining.
My stepdad had the same chronic illness as me & covid killed him in three days before the vaccines came out.
I'm not taking any fucking chances. My husband & I mask everywhere we go, but I still have to socially isolate.
It's so frustrating being left behind by almost everyone we know.
Some of us are still isolated because people do not practice good hygiene.
Now with the measles outbreaks, the government no longer properly preparing for future pandemics and making it harder to get the right flu/COVID-19 vaccine, we may never be out of isolation.
Those that do not follow procedures to not spread infections should be criminally charged. No one has the right to hurt others, even through infectious diseases.

Yeah, the people I'm around are following the example of their doctors & others they respect because it's worked for them in the past. They don't seem to realize the times have changed.
