- Most importantly, I hope Tyler Callihan gets well soon. Second, I know it’s useless to get fired up about MLB umpires. But the fact this wasn’t ruled a catch (and upheld by MLB Replay) is pathetic and embarrassing. MLB has to do better. The system has no accountability and that has to change.
- Apple has officially updated the App Store Guidelines to comply with yesterday's injunction in the Epic Games case. Developers are now free to include "buttons, external links, or other calls to action" to external payment options.
- Analysts (rightfully?) were more focused on tariffs and AI than App Store rules during Apple's earnings call today. Cook's answer when asked about the Epic case (40 min into the call): "The case yesterday, we strongly disagree with. We've complied with the court's order and we're going to appeal."
- Apple spokesperson statement: “We strongly disagree with the decision. We will comply with the court’s order and we will appeal."

- AAPL is up 12% on this, but it still seems like they are more exposed than just about anyone. There is iPhone/Apple Watch/AirPods production in countries like India and Vietnam, but the vast majority still comes from China.

- Here’s a fun Friday story: The Apple Watch was released 10 years ago this month, following its announcement in September 2014. To mark the occasion, Apple apparently made a few special-edition bands. Only four have surfaced, and it seems the project never left trial production. Some pictures:
