    And sad to report that having a world that takes care of vulnerable people means we take care of EVERYONE. Even the ones we don't feel "deserve" to be taken care of. It's not fair, I know, but that's how it works.

  Bless my readers. They've been like "omg don't kill yourself with the schedule, we can wait" and "making lots of money by making lots of books is good but work/life balance!" 'Making lots of money.' 😭 My darlings, if I was making lots of money I wouldn't NEED to have a schedule like this.

    me: it's like the marketing departments at publishing houses have never met readers, who read much faster than any writers write, and will KEEP BUYING BOOKS as fast as they come out also me: i have too many books scheduled this is insane everybody's going to stop reading bc it's too nuts
