- Jason Kenney passed in 2021 the Citizen Initiative Act. It was to appease the radicals in UCP. Today, Danielle Smith further amends the law (Bill 54) to help her unhinged UCP base in breaking up Canada. Now, Kenney regrets his populist move. It’s up to us to fix it now. #ableg
- Need a Federal Law on referendums modeled after the Irish Citizen Assembly, where politicians are minimally involved. Funding is restricted
- I keep saying it because it's true and some are resistant to hearing it: Carney will now run headlong into the realities of governing Canada, which include a fickle electorate, Cabinet ministers who screw up, resistance by provinces/cities/pressure groups, etc., and courts.
- I expect it will be Chretien-Martin 2.0, implement the opposition's austerity program, no bold policies or initiatives & no electoral/party finance reform. Your basic McKenzie King government, create an infinite number of steps to get from point A to B.
- Do we even have the sufficient labour to build housing at scale? I remember 2022, when the Liberals were saying we needed newcomers to do this work, before cutting immigration targets. And now? Do we have the capacity to build?
- Housing costs will continue to rise until Automation takes over, if 40% of the workforce is replaced by automation by 2030, guess what?
- Canada's Conservatives are openly flirting with the sort of election denialism that helped define the MAGA movement. It's time for their leaders to actually lead -- or fall prey to the same toxic populism that destroyed the Republican Party. #cdnpoli www.nationalobserver.com/2025/05/14/o...

- Correction, Mr. Scorekeeper. FLA 4 TOR 0 END OF SEASON. Leafs choke point maintained despite new coach
- Well at least they will win the PistIn Cup
- Sure, everyone under the sun is going to run in 2028—I get it. We can walk and chew gum, but our NUMBER ONE PRIORITY must be taking back the House and Senate so we can IMPEACH and REMOVE that POS with the $400 million flying bribe —in 2026!
- The Number One Priority is having free and fair elections in 2026 and 2028
- The one where the George Costanza of Canadian politics goes to work where he’s no longer employed and acts like he’s supposed to be there.
- PP is not Penske Material
- I think people ought to be able to organize a referendum on separation. But it’s a big shot to take. Costly. Divisive. So let’s say if organizers lose the vote, they’re banished from the country for ten years. Let’s make folks own their deeds. So epic. Like antiquity.
- Is there a Canadian Davey Cameron in our future?
- ~It's a campaign to spread misinfo. The group plans to hold 50 town halls as part of an AB-wide “educational campaign" "We intend to knock on every door at least twice. If the group educates Albertans on the real issues, the province would vote for independence." calgaryherald.com/news/politic...

- Well there are enough countries in the World with varied economic, religious and government institutions that a person can find a country that fits their beliefs. But it they were honest they are looking for a country that controls the other
