- Generally an annoying trend, even just the NC. The only people being affected by that are small companies and freelancers. Meta, Adobe, etc just reimplement the stuff within a week. Apache2 > MIT > GPL > NC > ND
- ⚠️ Important for #NeurIPS2025 authors: remember that second-order optimization papers CANNOT be submitted under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. It requires "no derivatives."
