- Veteran care in this country is already abysmal. Pell Grants help brilliant students who are poor go to college (I received Pell Grants). Pell Grants also help the children of veterans whose parents died in combat.
- As a Female US Army retired Veteran, I disagree with your generalization of VA care. I am sick of nonVeterans talking about the VA from random stores. There are some great VA hospitals and I am very happy with the care from the Clement J Zablocki VA Medical Center.
- These are statements that the orange Goblin and his henchmen use for privatizing the VA system. You probably Don't know that Veterans are allowed to choose between their VA Medical Center or get a referral to a hospital nearby. They can also get emergency care anywhere in need.
- The VA is also the biggest employer in the federal government for Veterans. It is in their mandate #DEI to hire a certain % of Veterans in the organization. It is Veterans taking care of Veterans.Yet the VA has been currently under a hiring freeze for the last year and is facing cuts.Dec 7, 2024 04:35
- Nobody is against giving preferences to veterans, genius. The issue is racist preferences that discriminate against whites, Asians and Jews. Which is illegal.
- And for your information, white men have always been the preferred hire. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion began because unqualified white men were hired over qualified applicants that were Not white men.
- They haven't been for many years. Every single university, every single major corporation now gives overt racial preferences. They should be removed once and for all. We should revert to color blind admissions and hiring.
