- Right now so many of us are bruised and battered and wanting to find comfort with our tribe is the most human thing possible. The community Bluesky is offering right now helps just a little bit.
- there’s also the fact that threads is growing because meta is sending people there from instagram, which is a super powerful, but distorting force. bluesky is growing strictly by word of mouth, which is naturally *noisier* and easier to notice as an outside observer
- the traffic from ig is also why “growing one whole bluesky” doesn’t actually show that meta’s product is solving the social problem better than bluesky
