- Seems Junie in now available for PhpStorm! 🎉 www.jetbrains.com/junie/
- Qué putada! 😂
- Two months after submitting my PR to supercharge Xdebug's performance, Derick Rethans finally responded with detailed feedback. He's requested I break it into smaller parts, and I've rolled up my sleeves to start diving in today. Let's make it happen!
- Looking forward to testing Jetbrains Junie once it becomes available for PhpStorm www.jetbrains.com/junie/
- I've been diving into Lovable, an AI-powered app-building platform, and the results are quite remarkable. Discover the full story in my latest blog post: www.linkedin.com/pulse/love-...
- I finally received a response from Derick Rethans regarding my PR to boost Xdebug's performance. He mentioned it's a significant change and needs more time to review it. He also asked for my patience. Stay tuned! 😄
- I have been testing using the MCP Server plugin to connect PHPStorm with Claude Desktop and, though it works and hints at a really useful tool, it still has too many rough edges to be a real alternative to Cursor
- Three weeks have ticked by since I opened the PR to turbocharge Xdebug's performance—still no meaningful response. Patience is a virtue, but it sure is frustrating. 😬
- I tested Lovable and, despite some stuff requiring several iterations, I quickly built a nice-looking CV site with an admin section in a couple of hours. Manual creation would have taken much longer! Check it out: carlos-granados-cv.lovable.app/
- To optimize your code, focus on sections that run very frequently. Concentrating your efforts there will yield the most benefit. Optimizing rarely executed sections usually provides minimal gains.
- Had a great time yesterday at the PHP UK conference and it was great to be able to say hi to people like @SlyFireFox @ACoulton @DaveLiddament @naderman, @craigfrancis and more. Hope you had a great time as well!
- Meeting Daniel Terhorst-North, inventor of BDD and grandfather of all BDD tools like @BehatPHP
- Just arrived in the PHP UK conference, find me if you want to chat!
- Thrilled with the boost in Xdebug's execution times I've achieved. Can't wait to hear Derrick's thoughts about this! 😅 Check it out: github.com/xdebug/xdeb...
- Just touched down in London for the PHP UK conference this Wednesday! If you're attending and eager to dive into discussions about Xdebug, Behat, Rector, PHP Static Analysis Attributes, or anything else, let's connect! 😄
- Just had my first PHPStan PR merged! Check it out: github.com/phpstan/php...

- Just submitted my PR to supercharge Xdebug's performance! 🚀 If you like this upgrade, help me spread the word: github.com/xdebug/xdeb...
- Version 3.19.0 of Behat released, with a couple of nice additions: - An option to print unused definitions - A table column transformer See the release notes for more info: github.com/Behat/Behat...
- I'm wrapping up my PR to turbocharge Xdebug's performance. Meanwhile, check out these timing examples showcasing a staggering 300%+ boost:
- What if I told you I've made Xdebug run 300% faster? Now you can keep it "on" all the time while developing! 🎉
- I've been deep in the trenches fine-tuning a PR to turbocharge Xdebug's performance. How much do you think I can make its execution faster?
- I want to measure the performance of PHP itself by measuring the execution time of some processes. I'd prefer real life code, not artificial examples. With consistent results and lengthy run time. I've used running Rector and PHPstan against codebases. Any other suggestions?
- I want to do some benchmarking of some operations in PHP, something that could take around a minute to run with varied code. I'm using running Rector and PHPstan on a codebase. Any other suggestions?
- With AI what I find is that it gives me superpowers. I've always struggled with complex SQL queries or complex Regex patterns. Now I can handle things that involve that stuff with more confidence and I can concentrate on my area of expertise. Do you see the same?
- Version 0.4.1 of the PHP Static Analysis Attributes released, with support for the recently launched Psalm 6 github.com/php-static-a...
- I like Cursor but would like something that runs in PHPStorm. Apart from the Jetbrains AI Assistant, is there anything interesting out there? 🤔
