Monkey see monkey do. A youtuber with huge influence doing a thing is going to influence his followers to do the same thing, and it'll result in a bunch of people who *don't* have the benefit of being popular youtubers with lawyers blabbing to the cops because they think they can get away with it.

I mean he does literally delineate himself from the other people in the same situation and acknowledge his position of privilege. I mean. He specifically mentions that.

I don't have any skin in the game here, btw I could really care less about Hasan Piker... literally heard of him hours ago.

What I am getting at is I am horrified *anyone* gets this treatment. That should still be the takeaway from any discussion of that clip.
