- I’m skeptical it would have mattered electorally but my god I wish Ds had been giving full throated support of immigration all these years. All we did was lend credence to the idea we were in crisis when we absolutely are not. Americans are super racist but I think the moral stance was the right one
- The moral stance is always the right one and not just on this issue. That’s what I’m looking for in 26 and 28 - candidates who stand up loudly for what’s right
