- Scott is right — my numbers ignore this distribution to make things simpler. By my calculations, most people would get back much more than they actually put in. Is this trickle down economics? 💁♂️🦋
- Indeed, this overestimates your lifetime contributions to NEH! I believe @btskinner.io divided NEH budget across the total US population, but the nation's top 25% of earners pay 90% of its taxes, and income tax accounts for only half of US income. Thus, most of us pay 1/20th of Ben's $ estimates!
