- Hi. A personal column this week. Pope Francis’s death got me thinking about Catholic school & whether Ontario should fund them at all. Flags are a small symbol but miracles to my Gen X eyes. Life would have been different if they flew when I was in Catholic school. Please read & share.
- I'm not Catholic but nearly 30% of ON K-12 students are enrolled in the Catholic school system, so government probably should support 30% of the population. And I believe there is some constitutional promises dating back to the 1800s about supporting Catholic education in Canada. It's complicated
