- Really shook up after that Oswaldo injury. I feel like more than any other sport, the guys on your baseball team are in your life essentially daily for over half the year, and Waldo is such an easy guy to root for. Really hoping it's not as catastrophic as it seemed, but I'm not watching the replay.
- I knew Expedition 33 was very French, but I didn't know it was "within the first hour you will fight a large mime and your reward will be a cosmetic where your character wears a beret and striped shirt and you have a baguette strapped to your back" French
- What a change of tone from the NYT's original "yeah it's successful but y'know when you consider the marketing spend..." bs they started with
- As a Yankees fan on the West Coast and also a longtime Martian stan, I am very much enjoying tonight
- I ended up agreeing with most of the critical reviews of Arcade Fire's new album, sounding like a band stuck in between ideas. There's two absolute classics (Alien Nation, Stuck In My Head) three okay tracks, and then a mix of ambient tracks and songs that sound more like sketches of an actual song
- It was 100% the Trent Grisham trade at this point
