- I think that after reading Erikson describe Kruppe as a blatant deus ex machina/author substitute/cheat code I understood his whole thing a lot better.

- Hopefully you're enjoying learning about the numerous half century old grudges held by the most vocal Spidey "fans"

- The confections things is tough at first but pretty much runs itself once you get it going - I'd just use a walkthrough for the initial setup and you'll have Infinite Wealth and a satellite laser in no time.

- It was fascinating to take a trip back to what this kind of high skill ceiling murderfest was like a year before Demon's Souls would rewrite the entire genre, or Platinum making a shiny dopamine button (Bayonetta's Witch Dodge or Metal Gear Rising's big parry) central to the survival/gameplay loop.

- You can always hang out with the Temu versions in Rise of the Ronin

- I believe MGS2 came out either the same week or month as Mulholland Drive did in the theater here and both having main character switcheroos as a plot device definitely had me questioning reality in general for awhile.

- I bounced off it the first time because of this but adored it on the second attempt - it’s deeply satisfying when the seemingly disparate Letherii plotlines start crashing into each other.

- My main issue there is that Shibusawa is a very 20th century looking middle aged man and just weird pick overall for Ryoma’s frenemy.
- Another year, another top 5 artists unknown to anyone in my life

- No one even considers the back problems and unwanted attention from creeps they will draw.
- Dragon Age: Veilguard putting Confirm and Jump on the same button was what truly told me the old BioWare magic was back.

- I finished Ishin! a few days ago and found it funny that Ryoma Sakamoto probably has more dialogue with Nishiki’s Izo than in 0 and Kiwami combined, let alone all his clowning around he does with Okita vs his general wariness/lack of regard for Majima.

- I think around 60 issues with a handful of one shots and minis like PREACHER is about the perfect length for a closed ended mega story.
