I like video games and politics. Communist. Chaotic good.
- This is what happens when you try to "change the party from the inside" and your opposition controls every lever of power. Unless you're willing to burn the party to the ground, you won't succeed. They'll do anything to neutralize threats to their grift, no matter how inconsequential.
- Turns out, not only can they force a vote when they really want to, but this is actually a great way to get Dems on the record in terms of whether they support an overtly fascist agenda. The insiders are pissed because the fence sitting centrists want to play both sides.
- The idea that you can replace real people with AI has always been a deeply unserious concept. You can train it to mimic human behavior, but it doesn't have the ability to replicate the qualities that make us unique. Engaging with AI and automated systems is an incredibly frustrating experience.
- The idea that people shouldn't be wearing masks when measles, bird flu, and COVID are spreading unchecked is absolute lunacy. If you want to get sick, permanently damage your body, and die before your time, go ahead, but the rest of us shouldn't have to pay for your stupidity and selfishness.
- At some point in the last 25 years, corporations managed to convince people that it was worthwhile to trade control over our own information and actual ownership of the things we purchase for convenience. Things that used to be "normal" are now seen as "luxury goods" that demand a premium.
- Dems are the party that convinced liberals that they shouldn't care about holding Bush accountable for war crimes after 8 years of rightly calling out his abuses, which resulted in the deaths of more than a million people. They exist to contain the left and to give liberals permission to be immoral.
