- I support the idea of providing accommodation for homeless people, but it's no solution to the housing crisis. It's an advertising brochure for an idea. $25m to convert an already council-owned office building to 50 short-term studio apartments. So all up, that's $1m+ for a very basic studio...
- It's something Pnkl, at least it's something. More of it would be even better. No it's not going to solve the housing crisis and it's not going to reduce the shit tonne of money I pay in rent every week but every little bit... 50 people housed is 50 people not having to live on the street.
- I agree. But it's as much a distraction from real solutions as both the major party's campaign policies were.
