There is a perfect storm of unobtainable product and predatory second market. The way marvels print, there’s just no normal way most people can keep up with the hobby. Once people start investing in a hero and unable to go to a new one, there will be a trust thermocline.

There’s Living Legend format, but I’m not interested in an unbalanced, no holds barred format. Most people aren’t. We want a balanced metagame. Even then, without reprints those like myself are priced out by secondary markets for LL’s format and playing less optimal builds against veterans.

My opinion, but I’m sure there are others who would agree. Slowing down the all points, printing fewer heroes, increase in bannings for metagame balance, and meaningful reprints are a step forward. Right now it feels LL points are a means to police the metagame, but it should be more about rotation.
