Humans haven’t changed much. While we were and still are capable of logic based intelligence, to this day we still remain creatures of imagination.
This isn’t inherently bad, but it can lead to disastrous herd mentality and the development of irrational fears when a person finds themselves isolated. Our current social climate is proof.
The idea of Jung’s collective unconscious and archetypes work to this day is because we are still those creatures he called ancients.
