This is an important distinction to retain.
So to be clear on my usage, I've taken to referring to Wolfean Christian nationalism as "reformed Christian nationalism" because it is rooted in their reformed trad, and distinguishes it from pentecostal CN and Roman Catholic integralism.
This is true. But many of these folks are not Reformed in the best sense of the word, they just claim the label. They are a bane to us who do wish to retain that word for ourselves.
May 12, 2025 21:14I've become convinced that there are Christian nationalisms, not a single concept called Christian nationalism. Each has its own flavor, and will grow increasingly distinct if CN gains more cultural power.
