So the current situation can be summed as the following: -The ceasefire has absolutely been violated. News from both sides of Kashmir and beyond report firing and drones. -However, neither government has declared the ceasefire over yet.

Despite the ceasefire, both sides of Kashmir are being fired upon from one side or the other or from both sides.

Sadly it seems the US President is more interested in announcing deals than actually getting them. Seems that both sides had not fully committed

Pakistani military has a mind of its own & does things even when it’s not in keeping with what the Pakistani government wants. The Indian military & paramilitary are better at following government orders, but they are increasingly guided by hardcore ideologues & fanatics who fancy escalation.

Not a great recipe for a ceasefire to stick.
