My daughter is a doctor. She borrowed 500K. The federal student loan repayment plan is a complete fiasco. They went back on their word about serving in an underserved area in the city. She still doesn't know what her payments are going to be. Cannot find out. Could be way higher than promised.

Mine is a teacher on track to become a principal. SIL is an environmental lawyer. I don’t even ask them anymore where things stand. It’s too uncomfortable. Hoping the inheritance will cover grad school and law school debt so they can be free someday. What a fucking system. 🤮
