- This is a pretty long read, but I urge everybody to actually go through this entire thread. It made me think about how I consume information and interact with other people about political subjects, and it’s worth a read for anyone.
- posted a couple of threads asking people genuinely for their views on whether they think moral tradeoffs exist for all positions and whether they work to develop theory of mind for opponents/enemies,and I’ve learned that a considerable number of folks here do not believe in either thing meaningfully

I hate now that two authoritarian governments have a perfect foil to have others rally around the flag, and I hate how beyond the cheerleading, civilians are suffering.
