View full threadI’m afraid it’s true. It’s turning into a full-blown obsession for a lot of people. I can’t explain why, but I’m seeing it more and more. This wave of extreme cosmetic tweaking, especially among women, is everywhere. It seems especially intense in MAGA circles. Just look at the crowd at Mar-a-Lago 🫤
- I guess if you don't want them to stray too far, you just wet their lips and stick them to the closest mirror. Maybe this is the next thing after tattoos.

View full threadI always appreciate reading your insights on topics like this. While the article isn’t directly about AI, cancer research is one area where I truly hope AI will make a real impact. That aside, I found it interesting from a layperson’s view. Your expertise offers a much deeper and more valuable lens.
- AI is already make an impact in cancer treatment. Drug discovery and treatment stratification are two areas. But wearables and remote treatments are others that are less developed, but coming in the future. Our department is hiring ~6 faculty in AI, Machine Learning etc in the next couple of years.
- Two words - Dramatic Exit 😁
