- This is extremely misleading. They were pulling an all-nighter. Republican Blake Moore—who’s all of 44—also fell asleep. I hate our gerontocracy as much as the next person, but let’s at least be fair & accurate.
- This epitomizes one of the biggest problems with the "new right," which is that many of them cannot distinguish between "cancel culture" and "having standards." You simply do not have to praise someone for saying "Heil Hitler." That's not intellectual bravery. It's depravity.
- A judge just ordered Rumeysa Ozturk released from detention after noting that the govt's entire case against her is that...she wrote an op-ed. Hard to overstate how bleak—and frankly embarrassing—it is that the Trump admin wants to jail & deport someone for speech. In America.
- A hill I’ll keep dying on: Whatever your politics, the fact that so many U.S. leaders do not understand basic constitutional law—or willfully distort it—reflects extremely poorly on our country.
