as Musk's Memphis data center chugs away on natural, thank god local power is pushing back.
they'll never get the returns they promised investors, so they'll just keep throwing compute, and the energy needed to make it, at the problem while dodging calls for actual results.
god willing we can nationalize these data centers if/when we get through this, wind down all that can't be sustained renewably, and hand the rest over to NOAA and the NSF.
