What we love about science is that scientists always try to do better. I'm a guy of a certain age and not a scientist, but learning the scientific method in grammar school has stuck with me my whole life.

I woke up this morning worrying that vaccines that we can trust will not be available in the fall. I worry about my 84 year old mother, who would likely not survive a nasty bout of COVID or flu and should NOT be left vulnerable bc of crackpottery.

I'll take it. "fda" approved or not. Pharma will have a short honeymoon, though (as will food producers, car manufactures, and any industry no longer tested and regulated). They will have to prove themselves.
