- At my first election in 2004, the AEC were required to do a full distribution of preferences before declaring the result in 4 seats. This year it is likely to be 93 seats.

- Made some small updates to the liveblog. Nicolette Boele running out of votes to catch up on Kapterian in Bradfield, Terry Young still doing a bit better than expected in Longman and basically on track for a tie, and the first half of 2CP count in Flinders suggests Liberals likely to win. #ausvotes
- I think the LNP just won Longman. A big batch of declaration pre-polls broke very strongly for the LNP and they now lead by 335 votes, with less than 800 votes waiting to be counted.
