- dSTORM reveals that IFT proteins are found around all 9 doublet microtubules
- By FIB-SEM, Aline found multiple densities resembling IFT but thinner and shorter than IFT trains encountered on external portions of flagella. Strikingly, they appear to fuse (or split?) and spread along distinct DMT as if they were able to switch from one DMT to another!
- To demonstrate the molecular identity of these densities, Aline used #UExM coupled to STED to reveal that they indeed contain IFT material that displays the same positioning as the densities detected by FIB-SEMDec 17, 2024 14:57
