- If cops think they're unsafe now, wait until they try to suspend habeus corpus.
- Thought to conclusion: Habeas corpus is the right to one's own body against confinement. If suspended, any person can be kidnapped off the street at any time for any reason with no guarantee of return. To that end, if you no longer "have the right" to your own body or freedom, why go peacefully?
- The government can't want law and order, not follow the law, and expect order to still follow. That's not how social contracts work.
