- Yes and no. Throughout the story, we had at least a year between each of the "Preludes to War" cutscenes, so by the time the 3rd one came around, we were still doing Orphix Venom. It was a while between that and New War, with Nightwaves, events and outside media giving context to Erra's betrayal.
- You weren't there when he was a threat. For instance, we spent 4+ years without a Lotus, so we actually had time to see his misdeeds and suffer them *very* physically. We got to see the Sentients actually invading before the New War, and all the shit that happened to us during events.

- That is a far more direct way to reach this conclusion lol I was thinking about often misinterpreted media, and the life stories of me and my wife. All of our hardships and successes. Even at our lowest points, we were still human, and tried to do good, but we still have a lot of hate within us.
