  Because it’s only Star Wars on a surface level. It’s a very human (and therefore more real) story. But the Empire is xenophobic against non-humans. By focusing entirely on humans, and using non-humans only as window dressing, it removes the fantasy element.

    I've been trying to figure out why Andor — a prestige series set in the Star Wars universe — hasn't captured casual viewers while similar genre shows like Game of Thrones and Last of Us were able to do so. Is it Star Wars fatigue? Has the brand become synonymous with mediocre output?
