- knowing how to change settings and avoid that kind of thing is now only the realm of people with a fairly high level of computer skill compared to average doesn’t help that nobody learns how to properly use a computer in school or at a workplace anymore

- end of using your computer your own way, basically. Microsoft Account required, apps reinstalled without asking, ads in the start menu, notifications for service upsells, etc People with know how can work around it but most regular folks it’s an annoyance
- You -need- to be grunting and pushing its essential to survival
