It’s complicated. Qatar and Iran have a close relationship. Qatar also works with Hamas.
Sometimes Qatar is viewed as a mediator between Iran, Hamas, Israel, and the US. Some people don’t trust that and urge caution with them.
They are political, clever, and intentionally maneuver themselves.
