OPINION:
Far more damning [to me] is the fact she is afraid of a person in the White House who is literally of her own political party.
Far more damning of her [to me] is the fact she still has not left the party. Murkowski should straighten her spine and change her Party Affiliation to (I) or (D).
Idk? I am loyal to the principles of my party (Democrat). I know Republicans who are loyal to Republican principles &are not MAGA or Trump. That is not Republican. It’s a populist cult that has overrun the Republican Party. We need to recognize the Never Trumpers and not condemn ppl out of hand.
At the same time, you can change your Party Affiliation freely as a politician. Lisa could mark herself as (I) since the GOP is no longer genuinely republican, or (D), and then change it to (R) again once Trumpism has been excised from such a party.
Right now, going along with the GOP is enabling.
Apr 19, 2025 01:44Yes, a person could change party affiliation but that is not our decision, is it? I think ppl should cancel their X account but their argument is they stay to “resist”. Their decision. Same with party affiliation, stay and bring it back to its values or leave? It isn’t our call.
