From @gtblackwell.atheists.org's analysis in our State of the Secular States Report: "Currently, 28 states allow school districts to offer released time programs, and two [other than Ohio (Oklahoma and Tennessee) make it mandatory for school districts." In 7+ states, schools must give credit for it.
