- Strong financial backing for the CBC will go a long way. The best defence against the far right is a strong independent news source that is trusted by most Canadians. Reality beats lies. Key thing will be to ensure CBC cannot get taken over by conservatives like the BBC during Brexit.

- A system that renders the world into a soundscape - eg linked in to Google maps plus a forward facing camera. That way a blind person could walk around and hear approaching obstacles, position themselves on the pavement, know where the edge of the kerb is etc and navigate solely by sound.
