So what is the actual evidence for the lab leak at this point?
60% of the country believes something for which there is no evidence! Anyone gonna take this seriously as a societal problem? Anyone?
Unfortunately the lab leak theory is something most Americans intrinsically *want* to believe. Blaming a Chinese communist plot to make a bioweapon, gone wrong? A much more palatable story than “pandemics are just gonna happen and it turns out we’re terrible at handling them”
