- Two checkpoints go up in Washington State with border patrol checking every 4th car for US citizens driving into Canada. No news coverage. No outrage. While the regime continues to roll out a dictatorship that will block the exits.
- I’m fasting part of today because I have a couple of doctor’s appointments tomorrow. I have to get vaccinations, including a new MMR, to live where I am. Because I’d rather be tired for a bit and live in a country that believes in medical science.
- Some Christofascist snowflake reported a picture of the Venus di Milo for “nonsexual nudity.” When I searched Substack’s open-sourced photos for a nude statue, every hit was male. EVERY. HIT. So I intentionally searched for this artwork. And it gets flagged. Because partially naked lady body. Sigh.
- And again, @dailykos.com misses the bigger point: To Christian Nationalists like Mike Lee, ANYTHING that makes him (or any White Christian Nationalist man like him) think about sex for one second is porn. This isn’t about online porn. It’s about anything remotely sexual. Including female bodies.
- Because we needed something lighter to end the week…and teaching kids to make and use voodoo dolls to replace all the toys they won’t have for Christmas could be a good thing. 😂😂
