- Anna-Lena is, as always, correct. The only way to finish the war is to actually provide Ukraine with the arms it needs to push Russia out of Ukraine and win a decisive victory. Europe is so far not making this happen.

- Leader promise, but voters and parliament decides.
- It's just that the leaders with empty promises don't want to admit it. They don't want the blame for the failure, and will point at everyone else, including the Ukrainians themselves.
- Second possibility is to actually enforce sanctions and stop buying russian fuel, which will tank their economy and force an end to the war. Probably both faster and easier, if there only is the will to do it.
