We desperately, urgently need a media that isn’t afraid to name this as the evisceration of the federal government. That is what is going on. We cannot only be comfortable using such language when the situation is far away in time or space. It’s happening here. We need to be clear.
Feb 4, 2025 15:39It probably needs to be framed differently. The "federal government" has been turned into a dirty word by the right, so when you say this, many people think this is a success. It needs to be described so that people understand that a tiny cabal is robbing them of something that's theirs.
