- The element that haunts me is how the videos that Owen gets from Maddie are life-altering clarity, while the streaming version he buys from a corporation are dumb and hollow. Damn if that doesn't speak to how mainstream trans rep feels vs the reality of meeting other trans people.
- I don’t talk about it much, but I struggle with mild long Covid that still gives me brain fog and some fatigue issues, but one of the weirdest effects that I never see anyone mention are the phantom odors. There are days I SWEAR I smell gas, or sweat, or flowers when there’s nothing there.
