- Final question is about state of the #SeaKraken prospect pool. Francis praises draft selections and develoment staff and process for them. "There's a lot of pieces we're excited about."
- Botterill wants #SeaKraken to get back to their identity including: speed, strength (in front of our net) and getting in front of our opponents' net, and development of skill and continuation of adding more.
- Francis on the not easy decision to part ways with Dan Bylsma said that he thought #SeaKraken needed "More structure, more details...(and) at the end of the day we didn't get the results."

- Earlier today, #Seakraken announced they'd signed Nathan Villeneuve to an ELC. Post-draft, I talked to Robert Kron, director of amateur scouting about what he liked about the player.

- With four straight 20-goal seasons with #SeaKraken, Jared McCann becomes just the tenth player in NHL history to accomplish that feat in the first four years of a franchise. The others:
- 5-1 Kakko picks off the pass in neutral zone and gets the puck to Wright who enters, drops to McCann and then drives to the net creating space for McCann's second of the night (second straight three point game for 19) #SeaKraken
- 4-1 Jaden Schwartz is back and he likes to score goals. #SeaKraken
- 3-1 #SeaKraken Ferraro's stick breaks, and that means Stephenson gets the puck and he's off to the races. 50th point as a member of the Kraken. McCann is the only other player in franchise history to do the same in their first year with the team.
- 2-0 #SeaKraken set up the cycle. McCann with the takeaway below the goal line drops the puck to Larsson who sets up Burakovsky in the low slot. 2-point game already for 19 and 95
- 1-0 #SeaKraken McCann converts on the first shot of the game. Stretch pass by Mahura connects with Burakovsky who spins and feeds McCann in the slot
- Both Jaden Schwartz and Eeli Tolvanen return to the lineup after missing last game. Tye Kartye the healthy scratch on the forwards side. #SeaKraken
