- Since 2022, my colleagues and I have been targeted by political attacks. Early on, we worried that political actors would specifically target our projects & universities for defunding. But in the end, they came after everyone. The strategy of keeping heads down was never the right one.

- Admittedly, I piled on @ericlipton.nytimes.com's misrepresentation of corruption with everyone else. Perhaps it'd be more productive if we instead cataloged the different kinds of Trump corruption that may not reach bribery and almost certainly can't be proved under John Roberts' regime.
- Just as an example, only SOME of Trump's pardons appear to be true bribery, dollars for pardon. Others (Papadopoulos, Flynn, Manafort, Stone) pay off lies as part of a coverup. Others retroactively excuse favored crimes--starting w/Jan6, but also various fraudsters. All corrupt. Just a few bribes.
- Remember that several people asked Pam Bondi during confirmation SPECIFICALLY what she would do on matters pertaining to Qatar (which she did not disclose) or GEO (pertinent to the Baraka arrest). She said she'd consult top career lawyer at DOJ abt recusal. Then she fired that lawyer.

- If I were a member of Congress I would have already introduced a bill prohibiting ICE agents from wearing face masks and requiring them to wear official identification at all times
- I took a couple days away from here. Just saw the Noem committee hearing. How she can point blank say they will not facilitate return as directed by the Supreme Court and have literally zero consequences. Explain it to me like I am 5. I know the legal system is slow but it is maddening.
- We need to keep doing this. We need to constantly remind the media and the people that these are ordinary people, not boogie men criminals. They’re human beings being grabbed by the real monsters who are ICE.
