- It is all about ego. Here's my Gen X lesson learned. I went to college with a lot of (then) young men who looked like Hogg. They were very liberal. But as they got older, they all went right. I don't think it is a matter of ideology. It's that they go back into less diverse spaces which are right.

- If Congress gives Trump control over the Library of Congress, that will be the first step toward criminalizing free speech because I sense censorship is up his sleeve.

- Dems need to get better at this part. Every day, someone needs to go before microphones and say that they filed a bill to stop XYZ and what Republicans did to that bill. They also need to sit and read the names of all members of Congress who voted on the new budget bill and how they voted.

- Nixon ran on the Southern Strategy. He played on the angst of people reluctant to newly integrated society following the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act. Reagan tried. Bush Dad got closer, Bush Son got even closer. Trump season 1 got to 2nd base. Trump season 2 is a Jim Crow rerun.

- That would not have helped. This country is unkind to a LOT of people. Kamala would never have been as acceptable as Obama because he had a white mom. Kamala's parents were immigrants. Immigration was on the ballot. It was Trump’s singular issue. He even questioned whether she was born here.

- They also forget that those who donated their funds can easily withdraw their money and give it directly to the students in a trust. Then the school loses that money because word will get out and those Black students will chose to go elsewhere, meaning and decrease in enrollment = lost revenue.
- Of course the most corrupt POTUS in recent history gets unnerved by being questioned about said corruption. The fact that he wouldn't answer it directly and wanted "nice" things said to him and pivots to criticizing the network shows just how sick AND GUILTY he is. His non-answers are an admission.

- The challenge comes in the House. Dems have filed counter bills for all executive orders and for this. The GOP Speaker won't bring any to the floor to be read or debated on. The House GOP is gatekeeping democracy.

- Where's the attack? Let's be VERY clear. Malcolm is a sacrificial lamb here. He says reason for removal isn't about Davig Hogg. Then that means there was something else in this. But even if it was about Hogg, voiding Malcolm's seat because they don't want the illusion of targeting Hogg is unfair.
- I have a child his age, so I don't despise the young. My problem is that I got a few emails from his organization and he could have only gotten my I found from DNC. That is a conflict of interest. It seems the DNC have gotten several complaints about that.
- If you leave the Democratic party because they posted David Hogg from leadership but have no smoke for the way Democrats disparage Kamala Harris' name after she lost (even as recently as yesterday), but didn't do the same to Hillary, YOU are the problem.

- Exactly. We all have choices. For him, that was a strategic move because he's trying to open the tent up to people who will eventually come in and close it. Clearly, he's not a student of history. That's exactly what happened when the Dixiecrats left the Democratic party for GOP and closed ranks!
